“I tried to narrow down many feelings and thoughts from the past year. It’s very personal to me and I hope the people dig it.” Abstract, lo-fi, and triple dipped in soul… ELWD’s debut album combines live instrumentation and dusty samples, which the UK producer loops, stretches out, and manipulates to his liking. The soundscapes and the loose rhythms are top notch, but the truly distinguishing features of All Good Things are the deep emotion and aural hue that ELWD is able to squeeze out in each of the beats. Definitely not something you can cherry pick through, listen from beginning to end to really enjoy the serene flow.
